When there aren’t enough hours in the day to get in a workout, turn work into a workout by stashing this under desk treadmill ($200) under your desk.

Pull it out anytime and go for a quick run. Walk all day while you work. Whatever works for you to get more movement in while you are deskbound makes work healthier and buys back your leisure time for the things you want to do.

This under desk treadmill is a great deal

This under-desk treadmill is an amazing deal today. Whether you use it as a proof of concept or it turns out to be perfect for the long term, $200 is a great price.

Reviewers love it and say it’s working well for them.

“Working remotely has had a lot of benefits,” admits one reviewer. “Moving around is not one of them. I tend to get comfortable and end up stationary…This treadmill tucks nicely under my desk against the wall and takes less than 20 seconds to pull out during the day and put away when it is done.
… It is extremely quiet and cannot be heard when I am in meetings or directly speaking with someone. I pull it down, turn it on, and before I know it, I have gone a mile or more without an issue.”

“It fits perfectly underneath my standing desk and I find I’m able to use it easily while I’m working during the work-day and even when I’m just in my office on the weekends doing other things, like paying bills or whatever,” said another reviewer. “I thought it would be hard to type and work while walking and found this to not be true. Using the mouse takes a little practice, but once you get into the swing of things, it is perfect. And honestly, when I’m in hour-long meetings, I find that if I just focus on the meeting and walking, I actually pay better attention in the meeting because I’m also not trying to multi-task so I absorb more of the meeting.”

I agree with all these reviewers. A treadmill under my desk has boosted both my health and my productivity. I don’t own this particular treadmill.

A Treadmill with a 5% incline

I spent more money on the Egofit Walker Pro ($399) because I was looking for elevation. (It has a fixed 5% incline) One of my favorite ways to get fit is to walk hills, which requires living near a hill. I don’t.

The Egofit is terrific. And it’s so small — just long enough for my stride with no extra equipment — that I leave it permanently under my desk so that going for a walk is a matter of hitting a button on my standing desk and pulling it out.
