Here’s a membership shopping site that saves you time and money while helping the planet
Over the last few months, I have become a fan of Public Goods. It’s a shopping site that stocks only sustainable, organic, and zero-waste goods for personal care, home, and travel. I started out using just a few things — the easily refillable shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and dish soap. But the stuff is so nice, that I’ve started using everything from the toothpaste to the floss to the facial lotion and laundry pods. I’m very picky about those things. But nothing has disappointed.
Part of the charm is that the packaging is all simple, quiet, and matches. So the more of the stuff I use, the tidier my place looks.
But it’s also a time saver. I don’t have to pour over the ingredient lists or hunt down paper products that aren’t destroying the earth or any of that. They did all that work. I just shop.
Also? The prices are totally reasonable because you pay an annual fee.
