I bought these stupid flowers on a whim, and now I’m in love with my car again
Amazon thought I would like these daisy vent clips for some reason. It sensed I was in the market for cheap car bling, maybe?
I was skeptical.
I am in what I like to call my “dark botanical” era, but daisies are not dark. The algorithm wouldn’t understand that, of course. “They will be too cute,” I told it.

But my all-black car needed a pop of color. I had just bought a scent doohickey for it, but my husband swiped it as soon as I got it out of the package. I’d been meaning to buy another. There was no way he would want these daisies in his F-150.
I chuckled, ordered them, and had low expectations except that they would let me use my own essential oils if I didn’t like the scent packs that came with them.
I was so wrong. My dash looks amazing now. My car smells terrific. My daughter is jealous. And I am in love with my car again.
All this for $8? Why isn’t everything like that?
