The Global Yodel

I am so happy to have a copy of the new XBOX 360 game Alpine Legend — to give away. As you can see from this video (above) this new game from Microsoft comes with a host of extras: an alphorn, headset, Lederhosen, green hat with feather, and red suspenders.

What do you have to do to win? Just tell us, in the comments, why you want to “join the global yodel.” Or you could post the title of your favorite yodel. That works.

This may sound cheesy but I would love to join the global yodel for one reason…. to bring me and my brother closer. It would be the funniest thing to see us performing and the memories would last a lifetime. Thanks for the chance at a cool giveaway!

Well, I didn’t watch the video since video’s consume a lot of bandwidth and I pay for my bandwidth. So, I would have never known that this was an April Fool’s joke until I read today’s post (which I happened to read first because it was at the top).

I want to join the Global Yodel because I LOVE this game! (even though my kids fight over who gets to wear the Lederhosen, is there some way to buy extras?) My favorite part is the Yo, Dude Yodel, though the Yuppie Yodel comes a close second! Thanks for a great blog!

What a great April Fools trick! I would have seriously considered buying if it was real. We could play it along with Guitar Hero. While watching the video, I cracked up because flashes of Ricola commericals and Julie Andrew/Marie singing the “Lonely Goatherd” kept going through my head. Thanks for the laugh. I needed it.
